This drawing was displayed at the Dirty Show 10.5 in Detroit, MI (September 25-27, 2009). The size is about 30×15 inches. The focus of this drawing is on the hands, which can be one of the toughest part of the body to draw.
My name is Michael Wilson, this is my art portfolio and blog. As an artist, I primarily work with pen & ink, drawing the human figure. When drawing, my goal is to make my lines as interesting and abstract as possible, without destroying the subject. I like the pen as a drawing tool because it allows you to see every single stroke I make, whether it's a mistake or not. There's no erasing, there's no painting over.
